La Montée B&B CharenteLa Montée is a picturesque farmhouse situated in the heart of the Charentais region overlooking the pretty village of Poursac and the surrounding countryside. We offer exquisitely restored comfortable accomodation with an authentic feel, Weather you need a base to explore from or want to relax in a tranquil area taking in the beautiful views or swimming in the heated pool ( open during summer months ) , we are sure you will find La Montée to be the right choice. This is an unspoilt corner of France with a gentle climate offering a diverse range of activities should you wish. With regard to the accommodation, you can choose from a large airy family room with a comfortable wooden French double bed and two restored French daybeds to relax on , or for the children to sleep in , or a beautifully decorated twin room with painted furniture. Both bedrooms have private en suite shower facilities with all rooms being tastefully renovated to a high standard with exposed stone walls and oak beams on show. The bedrooms have lovely views over Poursac and the surrounding area and from the family room en suite , the view is towards the next village of Saint-Georges. We are open all year round , offer free private parking and access to wifi is also available. A pretty French cot can be provided for either room. |

Le Vieux Chemin Machennes B&B Poitou CharentesAncient village house, sympathetically restored in 2005, to provide comfortable high quality bed and breakfast accommodation at this charming chambre d'hôte in Poitou Charentes in tranquil surroundings. The house has two double rooms both with full en-suite facilities and a family suite for two adults and two children again with en-suite facilities. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilties, hairdryers, seating areas and fans for those balmy nights. Meals are taken either in the guests dining room or in the private courtyard. Breakfast consists of cereals, croissant and fruitbread with conserves, yoghurts, juice and tea or coffee. |
